No, WiMo hasn't been sent to reduce spam (yet)... but I am.  I had left anonymous comments enabled, hoping I wouldn't get hit hard by the spam bots, but that was foolish thinking :).  So, if you'd like to make a comment, you'll have to create an account.  It's very quick.  If you have any problems, let me know.
